Partnering for Sustainability
As an ongoing commitment to seeking advanced sustainability, we’ve partnered with Lambton College’s Research & Innovation Department to provide development resources for various projects that focus on providing more sustainable solutions to customers.
The Applied research team at Lambton College has built a strong network of research partners. We are honoured to be part of that illustrious list. The College offers high quality labs, facilities and an exceptional research team that suits a multitude of research projects. We are specifically working with Lambton College on the following:
Project 1
Development of an advanced, membrane-based water treatment process for treatment of produced water from the petroleum industry – Awarded the “Engage” grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
We aim to synthesize a membrane with excellent mechanical and chemical stability to take high-salinity industrial wastewater associated with the oil and gas sector and upgrade it to utility/irrigation/potable water standards.
Project 2
Using technology to uncover insights and drive informed decision-making in the petroleum industry. As part of the partnership with Lambton College’s Research & Innovation department, Petro-Techna aims to develop a powerful analytical software tool to track and mitigate our carbon footprint.
